7.5 tonne driver – Reading

IMH Recruitment are currently seeking a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our client based in Reading. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This position requires a valid Commercial Driving Licence and previous experience delivering heavy goods.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing curb-side deliveries of flooring to customers’ properties
• Completing up to 20 drops per day
• Dealing with customers face to face.
• Assisting with route planning
• Loading and unloading heavy goods
• Delivering to Reading and surrounding areas down south west of the UK.

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial driver’s license with no more than 3 points
• CPC Card
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience delivering heavy goods
• The ability to lift and move heavy goods

Hours & Pay:

• Monday – Friday 5:30am – finish usually around 3pm)
• £12.50 per hour
• Temp to perm
