Communications Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Communications/Marketing/Admin Assistant for four weeks to support the creation of a user-friendly Picture Library within Microsoft SharePoint. This temporary role involves organising, curating, and optimising our photo archives to ensure they are easily accessible and effectively catalogued for future use.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Review approximately 60,000 photographs to move from an internal drive to SharePoint.
  • Remove outdated or irrelevant photographs.
  • Tag images accurately with locations, names, and content descriptions for clear usability.
  • Identify and highlight any gaps in our photo suite to ensure comprehensive city coverage.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Attention to detail, with a creative eye for image curation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently.
  • Previous experience working on digital asset management projects.
  • Background in marketing, communications, or content management
  • Familiarity with local government or public sector projects.
  • Familiarity with the city of Oxford

Hours and Pay:

  • 37 Hours per week
  • £13.75 Per Hour
  • Please note this is a 4 week temporary role
