Highways Maintenance Operative

IMH Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled Utility Operative tocover the installation and maintenance of Footways Carriageways, Drainage systems and Street Lighting for our client in Stalybridge, SK15.

Duties

• Reactive repairs and maintenance to Highways and Highway Drainage including cyclic gully cleansing and high pressure jetting.
• Compliance with all relevant Health and Safety Regulations and Legislation.
• Use hand held data capture devices and computer systems where required.
• Liaise effectively with Council Officers, Members, Engineers and Members of the public.
• Drive all classes of vehicles and plant for which the post holder is licensed and certificated.

Experience

• Class 2 Licence
• Lorry Loader Certificate.
• High Pressure Jetting Certification
• Confined Space Training
• Electrical Safety Competency
• Experience of working on Street Lighting Equipment and Installations
• Experience of operating a Lorry Loader Crane
• Physically fit

Hours & Pay

• Monday – Friday
• 07:30- 15:30
• Starting PAYE rate of £14.53 p/h
• Weekly pay whilst working through the agency!
