Loading Shovel Operative – Loughborough

IMH Recruitment are currently looking for reliable Waste Operatives to work in Loughborough.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Waste Operative to join our team. As a Waste Operative, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste materials in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:
– Collecting waste from designated areas.
– Sorting recyclable materials from general waste.
– Load outgoing vehicles either in bulk or bales as required to driver/offtaker specification and accurately document.
– Ensuring compliance with waste management regulations.
– Maintaining cleanliness and organization in waste collection areas.

– Operating a loading shovel so will require a Plant Ticket qualification.

– The nature of the work may involve the jobholder carrying out work at different locations across the County.

Experience:
– Previous experience in waste management or a similar role preferred.
– Ability to operate waste disposal machinery safely and efficiently.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Hours and Pay:

-£11.98 Per Hour

-8.5 hours a day – 30 minute unpaid lunch.

-Monday – Friday work – occasional weekend work when required.

-Summer hours 9am – 7pm

-Bank Holidays.
