Stock Controller – Wath upon Dearne

Imh Recruitment are currently looking for a Stock Controller to work on behalf of our warehousing client based in Wath Upon Dearne.

The role of a Stock Controller includes processing orders, checking that stock levels are consistent, and ordering new products if needed. Ensuring that the orders within the system are fulfilled and transacted correctly within the time base required to satisfy the customer and transporting requirements during shift attended hours at an operational level.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Strong stock and systems management and interrogation capabilities.

· Structured approach to day-to-day requirements and task-based thinking.

· The ability to plan and prioritise work to operators on the shifts.

· Strong data entry and accuracy skills.

· Ability to input into root cause investigations and engage in development ideas and suggestions.

· Strong communicator as required to communicate to customers and various levels within the business.

· Strong reporting capabilities as there is a requirement of reporting of warehouse KPI’s these including but not conclusive cuts per hour, driver measures and truck utilisation, vehicle loading OTIF.

· Considered input of warehouse projects on site providing constructive views of any proposed changes required.

· Strong awareness of standard warehouse processes from goods receipts through to despatch.

· Ability to work to tight deadlines and have flexibility to complete the tasks in hand.

· Strong H&S awareness within area

Required Skills & Experiences

· Minimum of 1 years’ experience within warehouse stock control ideally with production management exposure.

· Analytical nature and conscientious individual with a strong eye for accuracy.

· Demonstrated experience in cycle counting/perpetual inventory checks.

Hours & Pay

· Monday to Friday Days

· 06:00am – 14:30pm

· £11.73p/h
