Head of Transformation

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic transformation leader to take ownership of a major organisational change programme, driving innovation, service improvement, and business transformation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver the organisation’s transformation programme, ensuring successful implementation and measurable outcomes.
• Manage the existing transformation team and ensure business-as-usual continuity.
• Mobilise and implement a new transformation programme, including governance frameworks and project structures.
• Implement recommendations arising from the Transformation Unit restructure.
• Provide strategic leadership, advice, and guidance to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Develop and monitor change management methodologies, tools, and standards.
• Identify and manage programme, project, and organisational risks and benefits.
• Oversee programme performance reporting, KPI monitoring, and benefits realisation.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and contribute to organisational communication strategies.
• Ensure effective resource allocation and prioritisation across transformation projects.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and organisational change.
• Lead service delivery in line with organisational objectives, policies, statutory requirements, and budget expectations.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree-level qualification relevant to the role or substantial equivalent senior-level experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation, change, and improvement programmes.
• Strong track record of delivering strategic organisational change and service improvement.
• Experience managing complex budgets, resources, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
• Experience developing policies, strategies, and performance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and programme delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build effective partnerships and collaborative working relationships.

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday – hours confirmed at interview stage
• £43.96 per hour
• Weekly pay via agency!
