Plasterer
Job Summary
A Plasterer is responsible for applying plaster, render, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Duties
- Mixing and applying different types of plaster to interior walls and ceilings.
- Applying external render to buildings for weatherproofing and insulation.
- Repairing and patching damaged plasterwork.
- Using specialist techniques such as dry lining, coving, or decorative plasterwork.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents.
- Ensuring a smooth, level finish by skimming and troweling.
Requirements
- Experience in plastering or a related trade.
- Knowledge of plastering techniques, tools, and materials.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering
- CSCS Card
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- £15.85- £17.50
- 8am- 4pm (3:30pm finishes on Friday.
