Yard Operative

IMH currently seeking a General Operative to join our client in Barnsley in a fast-paced manufacturing/ recycling environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production process and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

The Role:

• Operate machinery and equipment under supervision
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Operate power tools and hand tools to complete various yard maintenance activities
• Stripping down cables.

About You:

• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and supervisors
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm
• Starting salary £12.21 per hour.
